+5 energy bow, part 2 - Guild Wars Forums

In reply to a closed thread about the +5 energy bow never having existed...there actaually was a +5 energy bow at one time in the game.
It was either a collector bow or a quest reward bow (somewhere in ascalon) and had iirc 10-13 damage and +5 energy on it. when I took my first char (a ranger) through the game I used this energy bow all the way to the jungle and later got rid of the bow due to storage constraints (unfortunately).
It seems this energy bow is no longer in existance.

too bad realy, as the extra energy was realy good for low level rangers with low expertise.

It was a 9-13 lightening damage flatbow given out by the collector just outside of Sardalec Sanitorium. No idea why it was changed, but it's now a 11-18 lightening damage flatbow with 10/10 sundering (iirc). I also don't know if that was the only +energy bow available.

I am also annoyed with myself for getting rid of the bow. Not that it was a "good" bow.. with decent expertise the +5 energy didn't matter too much to me.. and the bow I used had better mods anyways.. but I'm annoyed as I likely could have sold the bow for a decent amount nowdays.. considering it's +5 energy and you can't get the bow anymore..

mwhaha... i have 2 of these... i only use the bows for interupting tho... cause' when ur interupting... u don't have to worry about damage

i have a +5 energy bow, it also has a +10 health modifier on it aswell only prob is its not max dmg cos its only 10-15ish i think. i got it as a quest reward for doing somethingby piken square

now if only i could salvage the +5 energy mod and put it on one of my gold bows :O(

now i know its been taken out of the game i might try and sell it seen as i sold one of my Henge of Denravi swords for 90k :O)
